Memorial Day Parade

Meet us in the morning and march with us in the Lynbrook parade! Show your St. John's Spirit and celebrate our 100th Anniversary of Sharing God's Love in our community and beyond! Sign up on the bulletin board as you enter the church.




[03rd June 2012]

Bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on and a dish to share.  Sign up  on the bulletin board a tchurch to let us know you'll be there.  Bring your own cooler with your drinks, we will provide hamburgers and hot dogs.

Welcome to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church

Welcome to our website!  St. John's is a community of Lutheran Christians in Lynbrook, seeking to love God and love our neighbor through worship, service, and fellowship. In September 2011, we began a year of celebrating our 100th anniversary of "Sharing God's Love" with our community.  Please have a look around to find out more about us - and consider yourself invited to worship and all of our activities!   

 

 

 

Join Us for Sunday Worship

Worship with us Sundays at 8:30 or 10 AM!  Our services are fairly traditional, but relaxed - we sing songs, hear scripture, pray together, and share in God's meal of Holy Communion.  All are welcome!
 
Chinese Dinner and Auction
Friday, April 27, 6:30 PM

Come enjoy some great Chinese food and put in your tickets to "bid" on lots of great items!  All proceeds will benefit the Barbara Semmig Scholarship Fund, which helps graduating high school seniors fund their continuing education.

Cost:  $15 for Adults, $8 for kids under 12; kids under 4 eat free!

On Sundays, free parking is available on the street, and in the bank parking lot (across Merrick Road from the church). During business hours on weekdays (until 6 PM), bring some quarters to feed the meter.
